The Mission of our Club is to offer our members a wide range of golf and social activities in order to enhance their overall golfing experiences and, most importantly, to have FUN!
Our tournament committee offers a variety of choices each season. We have a weekly event, a nine-hole tournament played on Tuesday afternoons (TNT) during daylight savings time months (March 15 thru November 1). There are periodic tournaments -- some serious like NCGA qualifiers and the Club Championship, some just for fun like the 4-Club Tournament played in October, and, our Member/Guest Tournament in October. Our periodic tournaments are often followed by refreshments, dinner and awards in the Apple Mountain Resort Grille.
We are not just about tournaments. In 2012, the Club will continue the more popular activities from previous years, including the Winter Golf League and the NCGA Team Match competition - a 12-person team competition against other clubs both at Apple Mountain and other courses throughout the region.
This site is designed to keep you informed of all upcoming events, and will include results and pictures of past events. In addition, we proudly include our monthly newsletter, the "LIPOUT", along with past issues for your review and enjoyment. The Lipout is published periodically to coincide with tournaments and copies are emailed to members and is available in the Apple Mountain Pro Shop.
