2011 PLAYER PERFORMANCE STANDINGS (POY)

Player Performance (POY) points are accrued by placement in Club competitions such as our periodic tournaments.  Members received one performance point for every dollar won during qualified tournaments.   Click here for a detailed explanation of how POY points are allocated.  Rankings may be used to assist in player selection in events that have a limited number of spots, such as the NCGA Team Match and the season ending Cyder Cup.

The competition for the 2011 Player-of-the-Year awards started on October 1, 2010  and officially ends on October 31, 2011.

Steve Dringenberg wins the 2011 Player of the Year honors.  After having been the Sportsman of the Year for the past two years by coming in second place for POY points, Steve has finally and deservedly captured the prize of a free Gold Membership and his namesake on the POY trophy.  Mike Dietz Sr. wins enough points from his fine play f or 3rd in the Player's to garner his recognition of being the 2011 Sportsman of the Year.  Half a Gold Membership goes to him as well.
