Last October at the Member/Guest Tournament, the Board surveyed the attending members to see what activities, besides tournaments, they wanted to see the Club pursue. We received a number of replies including non-golf social activities for members, golf trips to other venues, and competitions versus other golf clubs. The Board has responded with a number of new activities for 2008.

On October 1-2, the Club held its Fall Golf Trip to Carson City and the Genoa Lakes Golf Resort. Windy conditions were the norm, but people enjoyed the golf and the gambling.

On April 24-25, the Club held our first ever Spring Golf Trip to La Contenta golf course in Valley Springs. Attendance was tremendous at 25 people, and a great time was had by all.

In February, the Club held its first season kick-off mixer, and despite some inclement weather, it was a rousing success.
